Have HMO wanting doctor that's not in directory-

There is a doctor that is much closer to me than the ones listed in my HMO directory. He also does the RNY and gets you in sooner. What can I do to have him as my doctor. He was listed in the PPO, but unfortunately I am HMO. Thanks.
