Something is wrong with my stitch?

Hi. I had open rny on jan 5. My doctor only used 1 stitch, which is above where he opened me. He told me not to mess with is that he will take it out on my 4 week check up visit. Well, i have a problem. It looks like my skin is growing over the loop in which he stitched it. It might even be dissolvable, but im not sure. I need some advice as to if anyone else has had this happen.
