Has anyone had a problem with hyperparathyroidism since surgery?

I recently had a high calcium level and was told that I had mild hyperparathyroidism. I could have surgery to remove my parathyroid, or I could wait. My doctor & I have decided to wait 6 months to see if my corrected calcium level fixes itself.
