I JUST GOT MY SURGERY DATE FOR MY REVISION FROM THE LAP BAND TO RNY

Now that I got my date I am getting scared.. or the fact I am worried about a very sick brother of mines. I know this is the right thing for me because I gain weigth with the lap bad and it just didnt work for me. If anyone could please tell me all happens going from a lap band to rny. The doctor told me that they will be some scare tissue but if he feels like it is to much he will have to talk the bad out and come back another day. He said he has done a lot of his and he only had one that he had to go back in. I pray that he dont have to do that with me. I wanted rny the first time but my husband and mother was agaist it. Now they are on board.Please give me any info about it and to get over this feeling now that I know I am going to have it. My date is May 11,2010. Thanks
