Preparation food buying

surgery next week. Have a protein powder, my vitamins/Minerals and purchased some chicken broth today from Trader Joes. Is this all I'll need initially? Also looked at the yogurt at TJ's. It is sooooo high sugar. They had some low in sugar (8g), but none with no sugar. Is this OK. Also, what should be my sugar target per meal/per day? Don't want to go over and dump.
