When for losing hair??

I am 7 weeks post-op and try very hard to get in lots of protein, not sure that I am getting the full amount. I hear a lot about losing hair, does anyone know when this will start if I am not getting enough protein? Am I in the clear since I haven't had any? Thanks in advance! Kim
