I have a surgery date of 22 Oct and i am scared and happy my bmi is 35.8 can anyone h

I am a diabetic and have hip problems and sleep apna and high BP and so that is why i am having surgey i have been at trying to have this ofr about a yr and half and finally got the date YEAHHHHHh but i am scared i won't loose fats becasue i am not over 40 bmi like most has anyone had these experiance? Thank you
