Biotin capsule & hair perm question

Goodmorning, Is it ok to take a biotin capsule? Will it disolve in tummy? I had RNY on Sept 18,2007. Also My hair is falling, I have thin hair as it is, Do you think it would be okay to have perm done? I thank everyone that responds. My labs came back all good.
