Trans Continenal Modeling --- SCAM! Beware!
This is more of a comment than a question, but I felt like it needed to be posted for all members of this website to see. Today, I received an email from someone named "Tammy" claiming to be a WLS patient who was a scout for a modeling agency. Upon checking out this company on the internet, I found out that it is nothing more than a scam. What a shame it is that someone would prey upon people who have self-esteem issues, who have been ridiculed by society for all/most of their lives because of their weight. Many of us have dreamed about being beautiful, the kind of women that COULD appear in magazines and promotional ads. Honestly, I can say that this is not something that I had ever considered before today, but after receiving the email, decided to check out this company. After reading dozens of websites, including numerous Better Business Bureau sites, I can tell you that this is a major scam. I can only hope that no one who participates on this site, searching for help and information, will fall prey to such evil practices. I apologize in advance for this not being a "question", but I wanted everyone to know that such a thing was going on and to beware of any predatory emails sent to our members. Best wishes to you all! Lots of love! ~Lori~
