What is the rule as far as eating noodles....

I am 6 weeks post-op from lap-band and have a question as far as eating noodles that are in chicken noodle soup or Lipton cup of soup...I was not feeling well and wanted something warm, however, I didn't know what would happen if I ate the noodles. Are we allowed to them and if so what stage are we allowed to eat them...
