Questions re: South Beach Diet
I've just finished reading the South Beach Diet book, and am starting it today. My weight loss has been stalled since November, but it's my own fault for not sticking to a plan. A couple questions though: I'm confused about mayonnaise -- no mention of it whatsoever in the "Foods to Enjoy" or "Foods to Avoid" lists, but it appears in a couple of the Phase I recipes. Okay or not for Phase I? Regular mayo like Hellman's? Miracle Whip? Reduced fat or regular? Both appear in the recipes. Any suggestions for a decent dressing to put on salads? Oil and vinegar is my least favorite. Any other suggestions, particularly about getting through Phase I would be appreciated! Thanks much - Lap RNY 12/11/02 290/205
