I am having the feeling of needing to urinate but can't.

I have never had a urinary tract infection or bladder infection prior to having RNY. This morning I started getting a sensation as though I need to urinate, when I try just a tiny squirt comes out and then I have a "burning" sensation for about 20 seconds. About 5 minutes later I start the whole process over again. This has lasted all day. I think I am describing a UTI or bladder infection but also read somewhere that if you are not getting in enough liquids that you can get "false" symptoms like an infection? Has anyone heard of this or had similar symptoms since having WLS? I am two months post op Laprascopic RNY. Thanks, Beth
