My doctor found two small masses growing on my liver

I Am wondering what could cause this...i had an extensive work up of my digestive system prior to surgery by a G.I specialist and all liver functions are normal post op. Does anyone know what this could be??? I am terribly afraid and just want some insight as an mri is not shceduled anytime soon.
