Does my ADHD Medication absorb correctly?

I was recently diagnosed with Adult ADD. My medication (CONCERTA 27mg 1xday) seems to only last 2-3 hours. I am concerned it is not being broken down and absorbed correctly. What are the alternatives regarding dosing?
