Lap RNY incision pain. OUCH!

Hi everyone. I was wondering how long there is pain on that left side incision where the drain was? I had RNY on Tues. May 5th and came home on the 7th. Friday the 8th, I couldn't even roll over in bed because that left side hurt so bad. Well 2 days later it felt better and this tuesday at the 1 week mark, I am back to that awful pain again! OUCH! I thought I was getting better then bam, the pain is back. How long does this last? I feel awful and I wasn't expecting it a week out from the surgery. Could I have someting wrong inside? My surgeon saw me yesterday to remove the drain and said the site looked irritated but not infected. I hate to call him when I just saw him yesterday and he kinda blew me off about how bad it still hurts. He told me to rest. What should I do?
