How long does it take so you can bend over without your left side pain which I think

I had surgery March 15, Im not bending from the waist ,just when I bend a little I have that pain in my left side,I think that is my port,I am wondering because I have a physical job and was hoping to go back to work at the end of this week.Will it hurt anything when you are bending and it hurts?Or what does this mean?
