Has anyone Post-Op taken Clomid to get pregnant?

I was a year post-op on December 28, 2005. My husband and I got married on October 15, 2005, and I'm 36 years old. Neither one of us has had a child, but we are both interested in doing so. I saw my OBGYN for my annual woman's exam, and scheduled an appontment to talk to her about becoming pregnant. We are currently not pregnant. She did mention to me that we can may be able to try Clomid to help the process. I was just wondering if anyone has taken this medication post-op, and it you had any side effects? Any help would be interested. Thanks.
