My husband has now decided he can not support my decision

My husband heard two days ago that someone had passed away in the recovery room after surgery. He has withdrawn his support of my decision. I have my initial consult in 3 weks and am not going to let him change my mind. I suer could use his moral support though. Anyone else have this problem?
