how long from referral from pcp to surgery

I know everyone's case is different, but I was just curious if I could get a round about answer as to how long it will take from the time I see my pcp till the surgery. I have medicare/medicaid, so I don't know if that will make my wait longer or not. I'm just trying to learn what I should expect as I go through this journey...
