So what am I looking at....

I want to know what kind of pain I am looking at here... I am scheduled for laproscopic rny on 7/23/09, extremely nervous... want to know how bad the pain will be after surgery... I had asked my surgeon and he said it would be the same pain as when I had my gallbladder removed... I had NO pain for that... I am starting to get really scared... I know it will be worth it but need to know what to expect..... I also wanted to know how much weight is the average to loose each week/month????
