Question about pre-op testing..

I know I am just probably being silly... however I had my pre-op testing done 10/25/2007, my surgery is scheduled on 11/08/07.. today is 11/04/2007.. everytime my phone rings.. Im just sure it is my doc office calling to tell me that there is something wrong with my blood work and I won't be able to have the surgery. From Oct 25 until now... is that enough time for them to get my bloodwork back and call if there is a problem?? Has anyone ever showed up to the hospital and they sent them home because of blood work?
