I am waiting for an approval, Any advice on what to do next?

I am waiting for an approval from Cigna HMO Florida, cannot seem to get any answers from the people who answer the phones. My surgeon says the paperwork was faxed to Precertifcation on 8/22/01. Any advice? I'm growing impatient!
