Sharp Health Care - paid for tummy tuck with hernia repair?

My surgeon's office told me I do have a hernia that should be repaired, and that I should have abdominoplasty, but that Sharp Health Care will not pay for the abdominoplasty. There must be a way to get this done. I have accepted that I will have to self-pay for the arm lift and thigh lift, but I expected they would pick up the tummy tuck. Has anyone had any luck with Sharp on this? I'm in the San Diego area and would appreciated any insight on how to proceed. Thank you all.
