How do you talk to your children about weight loss surgery?

I have a ten y/o who I have not told about my upcoming surgery. She is also overweight and beginning to worry about her looks. How do I explain to her my reason for the surgery (medical) without tramatizing her about her weight. She is a very smart girl and I don't want her to see this as a reflection of herself.
