Could hair loss be more due to lack of fat absorption?
I have read the posts concerning hair loss and protein diets. Most people have said that they still lost hair with high protein diets. I have always understood that fat plays a role in hair health and that people who cut the fat from their diets can loose hair (remember the no-fat diets of the 90s... tried those too). Is it possible that the hair loss has more to do with the body's inability to absorb far and less to do with the protein? There is not much you can do about this, of course... but just wondering.
