Have you had a second round of hair loss?

I am 8 months post op and had some loss of hair from around months 4-6. It seemed to stop and now is back with much more vigor than before. I actually had increased my protein from 70 grams a day to 90 grams a day and my weight loss really picked up. But....that is when I started losing again. Can the increase in something be related or is this just something that happens to people? Don't give me that anesthesia stuff because I have had surgery before and you don't lose hair like this whenever you have other surgeries. Just wonder if I should be hat shopping instead of sitting here researching this phenomenon. HELP!!! ;o)
