Does anyone else have a problem with vegetables?

I have another question. I am one year post op and still having a problem with vegetables. My family gets very upset whenever I crave salads or vegetables because they dread the after effects when I eat them. I have learned my lesson this week and I probably won't be eating them for quite some time. Last Friday I was craving salad so I made a very small one and it enjoyed it tremendously, however, the after effects were terrible. I still get terrible gas, cramps and dumping. Monday (like an idiot) I ate a few bites of zuchinni. My husband and daughter swore that they were going to start wearing gas masks around the house if I didn't stop eating vegetables. Does anyone else have this problem? My surgeon said that I should be able to eat them now, and that I only needed to watch the intake for the first 6 months after surgery. But now after one year I should be able to eat them with no problem. HELP!!!! Linda Forrester [email protected]
