Can I have wls surgery if I've already had a tummy tuck?

I lost alot of weight (95 lbs) in 1996 after the use of diet pills. Since my skin had not gone back, I had a tummy tuck. Of course, the weight has slowly crept back and now I am looking into wls surgery. My question- Will the surgeon be able to operate on my stomach without undoing the muscles tied together during my tummy tuck? I'd hate to see all that money go down the drain.
