Has anyone ever had RNY followed by lap band surgery?

Has anyone out there ever had open RNY followed by another weight loss surgery procedure? I had open RNY in 2002 and lost 75 pounds in the first year. During that first year, my surgeon moved out of state. The practice had no structured after care program (take note to check this out pre-ops!!!) I have now regained almost 50 pounds. I was able to eat quite a bit at only 6 months, so felt something was wrong almost from the beginning, but was assured that the goal was for me to eat like a "normal" person. I am so depressed to have gone through this huge operation at great cost and now be almost as big as I was pre-op. I am planning to schedule a consult with one of the surgeons who is now practicing at my former surgeon's office in Charlotte. I was wondering whether anyone out there has had an RNY followed by lap band or other type of surgery? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!!
