I'm 2 months post op mild burning.

Yesterday I began having some burning in my mid-stomach, not right in the middle but a bit to my left. I'm thinking of taking a spoonful of Maalox. I have two questions and need your imput, please: has anyone had this mild burning sensation? is taking Maalox effective and safe for us? I already take pepcid pills twice a day.
