Low Magnesium Levels?

My doctor sent me a notice, some 5 weeks after my blood work was completed, that my Magnesium levels were low. I am not quite sure what that indicates for me. There was something on there about having "nerve issues." I don't know much about it and don't have another appointment until my year anniversary on Sept 18th. I am currently at 234 - down from 377. Ten months and minus 143lbs. Wow! It stuns me to put it into words!! Thanks in advance for any help!!! Colleen
