Is anyone taking mircette- birth control?

I am a little over 6 months post op. My ob-gyn has prescribed mircette (oral birth control pills). Is anyone else taking this? I was on this about 2 years ago and had little to no side effects then. Since I was already obese, I didn't attribute any weight gain to the pill. My ob-gyn and surgeon both feel okay with me taking it. Ob-gyn is satisfied that since it is a hormonal medication, it will desolve in my intestine and not my stomach. This is a very low dosage pill- as in side effects. Just wanted to see if anyone was taking it. Thanks! Kathy 389/265/under 200.....
