Why don't they make salty protein supplements?

I had my surgery several weeks ago, and have probably sampled around 20 different protein supplements and haven't found one yet that I can stomach. One of the problems is that I'm not a big "sweets" person. Sweets did not get me into the situation where I am today. And all the proteins I've tried are just too sweet for my taste (I don't think the texture bothers me). Given my past history, I just don't think I'll ever acquire a taste for anything so sweet. If I had the time, and was enterprising enough, I would invent some salty protein supplements, such as soups and tomato juices. Is there such a thing already out there?
