Antibiotics & Percocet?

My dentist prescribed Trimox (a form of penicillin) and also Percocet for pain after oral surgery yesterday. Percocet used to knock me for a loop before gastric bypass (distal RNY) and now it is like taking a sugar pill. It did not help my pain whatsoever. I even doubled the dose which I know was dangerous but I was suffering so much and it still had zero effect. Secondly, are antibiotics OK for our pouch? Thanks, as always,
