Anyone experience permanent nerve damage after a Thigh Lift?

I had a thigh lift in May and have experienced severe pain in my right leg which radiates up my butt and right side of my back. My leg is also painful to the touch (it even hurts to shave the upper part of my thigh). Has anyone else had a thigh lift and experienced or heard of permanent nerve damage that can happen? I was told that I will have to live with this for the rest of my life and I want to know if I am the only one that this has happened to. Thank you, Mary Beth
