anyone have hernia surgery before their TT surgery?

I am 5 months out and have a huge hernia that affects what clothes I can wear. The doc says wait until I have my TT to have it fixed, but it is driving me crazy. anyone have the hernia fixed prior to the TT. if so, how did it go? thanks
