For the Ladies ...What kind of

Ladies, I need your help. I haven't had to worry about my menstral cycle for years. However I have read that many have their period return right after surgery. I'm 51 so my doctor is convinced I won't have to worry about my cycle restarting with drastic weight loss, but I don't want to take any chances and want to be prepared just in case. What brand "pads" do you use? I'm large and want to be sure I get one that will give me enough protection in length and width. I was kind of embarrassed to ask, but just knew that many of you would have the answer for me. Thank you in advance.
