BC of Illinois--What does this mean?

Hi! Well, after a solid YEAR of ups and downs, it looks like we FINALLY have insurance that covers my surgery. My question is--What does "Coverage can begin on the first day OF the third month of employment". It doesn't say AFTER, so I'm wondering if it means after 60 or 90 days. I am afraid to call and ask after being denied by Regence and United. Thanks for any information, and have a wonderful Thursday, Suzi
