Can I Use Chlorophyll to help relieve smelly gas?

I haven't had surgery yet but some people say they experience foul smelling gas and bowel movements and bad breath post-op. Has anyone tried using Chlorophyll? Some nutrition websites are advertising this supplement as an "inner body deodorant". I was just wondering if it really works.
