I need to know if I should be worried about pain in lower back?

For four days I have had severe diarhea and this dull ache in my lower back. Does this sound normal? I have eaten about ten immodium advanced in two days and it has not made one bit of difference. I feel like I did when I had to drink the fleets Phoso. I am really starting to get scared. I called my surgeon's office and they are out to lunch. Any advice?
