Anyone with experiences taking Effexor XR post op? It was prescribed for me yesterday

and my physician is aware of my WLS status (I'm 4 months post op)and even though it's in capsule form he assures me it will breakdown normally in my system since my surgery was proximal. Any personal experiences with this drug? Thank you ! Elizabeth Lap Rny Dr.Foote 12-13-02 286/192
