Has anyone else experienced constant nausea and dry heaves?

I am 2 months post-op and am sick from the minute I wake up usually until the time I go to sleep. I have been out of work for 2 months because of this, I get very violent dry heaves every day weather I have eaten or not. I am very careful of what I eat because I thought I was dumping but it is constant all day nausea. I never vomit but sometimes I do spit up clear fluid. My doctor says that it is uncommon but does occur. I need to go back to work soon, and was wondering if anyone else had this problem and how long it lasted?
