Wierd weight loss?

I am 8 weeks out and have found that about every 4-5 days my weight loss will stall for a day or so. Then it will start up again and I will lose another 1-2 pounds and so on. I started out with a BMI of 46 and it is now down to 41. Does this make a difference? I've lost 35lbs since Jan 15, which to a person that is "immediate gratification" motivated, seems slow. Too, this 6 month "honeymoon" what exactly is it? I'm confused.
