3 month blood work

Hi Everyone: I just received my 3 month blood work. I will be speaking to my doctor on Monday, but just wondered if any of you professionals could make sense out of my bloodwork. First of all: The lab tech said she would absolutely not do a lipid profile because I was not fasting (had a protein shake that morning). My doctor never told me to fast. Well, lo and behold they did my lipids which came up at 204 for Cholesterol and 141 for LDL-Cholesterol Calc. The lab tech said these would be skewed because I had eaten. Should I have them retaken when I am fasting? My potassium and B-12 were HIGH. I would think this is fabulous. I was hoping they would not be LOW. Also in my bloodwork my MCV and MCH were low, and my RDW were high. What in the world are these things? I was quite pleased, as cholesterol was 45 points lower than the last time. I also did not fast then, and thyroid and other levels were quite normal. Thanks for your help. Love Grace
