Yet another calorie question: How many at 3 1/2 weeks out? Should I care?
I am 3 1/2 weeks out lap RNY, down 20 pounds, which I think is terrific. I am averaging about 550 -650 calories a day, 75 g. of protein. I am getting plenty of water. Yesterday, however, I had 800 calories (with 88 g. of protein). My surgeon did not give me a calorie guide, and I'm concerned I'm eating too much. I've read some past questions in the library that seemed to indicate I didn't have to worry about calories at this stage -- is this right? Does anyone have a guide for caloric intake as we progress?
