How long before the swelliing inside is gone?

I am 3 weeks post op Lap RNY. I still have some trouble getting in fluids and can not consume more than approx. 1 tsp. of pureed food. I never vomit. I do get very bad indigestion if I eat any more than this and am in pain for close to 24 hours. On average, how long does this internal swelling last? Thank you all for your input.
