Almost 6 months post-op and have pain beneath the pouch area

I have a constant, sometimes sharp and searing pain beneath my pouch area. This pain has been there since a couple of months after surgery/gallbladder removal, but is now bothering me more. My weight loss is almost at a standstill and I'm only halfway to my goal. Does anyone know what this might be? I have dr's visit scheduled..but not until about 4 weeks from now when my new insurance goes into effect. Does this sound like a staple line disruption?
