Has anyone experienced added hunger with the Luenell birth control shot?

I'm so upset. I was so afraid of this happening. I just got the Lunell birth control shot a few weeks ago. The reason for it is from what I understand birth control pills are no longer as effective with RNY surgery. Anyhow, I have now noticed my hunger increase which has caused me to snack though out the day. I didn't notice this before. I had a very similar experience with Depo but my GNY assured me that it is different. Could this increased hunger be from the shot? Has anyone experienced this? What can I do to curb my appetite for now. Unfortunately, this lasts for 1 month so I have to put up with it until it wears off. Any suggestions? Thanks!
