How much time do you need to take off of work after a thigh lift?

I am interested in having a thigh lift and would like to know how much time is required for recovery before returning to work. I also need a tummy tuck, but the plastic surgeon I am seeing doesn't think that it is a good idea to both at the same time due to pain. Thank you!
