Is what they inject dring a Cat scan and use to do the leak test the same thing?

Because I am severely allergic. When I had my cat scan they had to call an doctor down from the ER because my face became swollen,I had an asthma attack and had twitched during the procedure. Was it barium? Sorry to keep asking so many questions but want to be 100% prepared.
